// Steven Langley's path into cybersecurity began six years ago, driven by a passion for problem solving and a curiosity for how systems can be broken, understood, and ultimately made stronger. Starting with traditional, theory-based courses, Steven quickly recognised that real capability comes from hands-on practice — leading him to TryHackMe, where he progressed through to achieve the SEC0 and Junior Penetration Tester (PT1) certification, hands-on credentials covering skills including web application, networks, and Active Directory penetration testing, AI Security, through realistic, simulated engagements. This along with the CISCO Ethical Hacker certification, provides a solid line of defense. Â
Steven's interests span network security, web application security, and the rapidly emerging field of AI security — an area he sees as critical to the next generation of cyber threats and defences. Committed to continuous learning in an industry that never stands still, Steven is currently progressing toward the CompTia PenTest+ professional qualification, a globally recognised and respected certification in offensive security, reflecting his commitment to operating at the highest technical standard.
Steven founded SiamSec to bring a hands-on, offensive-first approach to organisations across Thailand, built on the same curiosity and rigour that shaped his own journey into the field. Based in Bangkok, he leads SiamSec's engagements personally, ensuring every client benefits directly from the practical, attacker's-eye perspective that defines his approach to security.
